Vigor2136 Series UFB Configuration
Step 1. Connect to the Web Interface.
Connect your computer to the Vigor2135 with an Ethernet cable to a LAN port. Ensure your computer is obtaining an IP address automatically. Open your Web Browser (e.g. Edge, Chrome or Firefox), enter https://192.168.1.1/ into the address bar, and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
You should be asked for a username and password. Enter admin into both fields (the password may show as dots or stars) and click the Login button.
Step 2. Insert VLAN settings and ISP authentication credentials
From the left-hand menu click Configuration then WAN. Click the Edit button to the right of WAN1.
Most Internet providers will require you to set a VLAN ID. If this is the case it is usually VLAN ID 10.
Enable the Customer VLAN option and set to 10. Leave priority as 0. NOTE: do not enable the Service VLAN option.
If you have been given a username and password to connect, select PPPoE in the IPv4 Connection Type field, enter the details and click Apply at the bottom of the page. Otherwise leave as DHCP (default), this is sometimes also described as IPoE by some providers
Apply settings
Step 3. Confirm connectivity
From the left-hand menu click Dashboard and check that WAN 1 Status shows a valid IP address. If there’s no IP displayed there is an error in your configuration. Check with your ISP the correct details and re-enter if needed.
